What it does

Chromatic auto mode

Detects any note you play, and shows its octave.

Fixed-note mode

Lock the tuner to one note, C through B, and tune straight to it.

You'll know when you're there

The screen turns green and the phone taps once when the note is in tune.

Accurate to the cent

A bar shows exactly how sharp or flat you are.

Adjustable sensitivity

Turn it down for a noisy room, up for quiet practice.

Portrait and landscape

Works whichever way you put the phone down.

Nine languages

Follows your system language, with no setup.

Every instrument

Guitar, bass, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, brass, woodwinds and voice.

Paid once, that's it

No advertising, no in-app purchases, no subscription.

A look at the app

The same tuner in light and dark — it follows whatever your phone is set to.

Tunero in light appearance, showing the note G in octave 2, four cents sharp, in automatic chromatic mode.
Tunero in dark appearance, showing the note A in octave 1, two cents flat, in automatic chromatic mode.

Private by default

Tunero listens through the microphone to work out the pitch you are playing. That audio is processed live, on your device, and is never recorded, stored or transmitted. No audio leaves your iPhone.

The app itself has no tracking, no analytics, no advertising and no account to create. It collects nothing, so there is nothing to sell, share or leak. This website measures its own traffic, but only if you agree to it — see the privacy policy.
