Tunero is a musical instrument tuner published by Yard25 s.r.o.

The short version

Tunero does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personal data. Everything happens on your device.

Microphone

Tunero uses your device's microphone for one purpose only: to detect the pitch of the sound around you in real time so it can show you the note and how in-tune it is. Audio is processed live, on your device, and is never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. No audio ever leaves your iPhone. The app asks for microphone permission the first time you use it, and you can revoke it at any time in Settings → Tunero → Microphone.

Data collection

Tunero contains no analytics or tracking, no advertising, no accounts or logins, no third-party data-collecting SDKs, and makes no network connections to collect or send your information. Because the app collects nothing, there is nothing to sell, share, or leak.

Crash diagnostics

Tunero contains no analytics or crash-reporting code, and no third-party SDKs.

Separately from the app, iOS itself can send Apple anonymous diagnostics when an app stops unexpectedly, and Apple may share those crash reports with us. This only happens if you have turned on Share With App Developers in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. The reports describe where the code failed — never audio, and nothing that identifies you. You can turn this off at any time in the same place.

This website

Everything above describes the Tunero app. The yard25.com website that hosts this page is separate: with your consent it uses Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. You are asked the first time you visit, nothing is measured unless you accept, and you can change your answer at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. The Yard25 privacy policy covers this in full.

Children

Tunero does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, and is safe for all ages.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
